About State Of Creative llc.

Hi I'm Nicholas Olen and State Of Creative is my brain child. I've been an artist my whole life and got into digital design in 2005. I quickly became fluent in Photoshop and Illustrator while learning silkscreening and print making. In 2008 I started Stone Improvement which was a natural stone and tile restoration company based out of San Francisco. While building that company I did all of the marketing including the website, business cards, tee shirts, brochures, search engine optimization, and online marketing. It was quite a learning experience. In 2014 I sold the company and moved from the Bay Area to Grass Valley with my wife and two children. That's when I started State Of Creative. I incorporated the company so I could become the online distributor for Creto Concrete Sealants. I also started Sweet Concrete which is a concrete and natural stone restoration company. Concrete resurfacing takes up most of my time in the summer and fall seasons but during the winter and early spring I have time to focus on design work for local clients.
